| Description | This coupling is an application
of the parallel-crank mechanisms. It consists of three identical parallel-crank
mechanisms which share the same cranks. The input and output shafts are
connected to the two cranks, respectively. The transmission between the
two shafts can therefore be completed through the three parallel linkages.
This coupling is used for the transmission between two parallel but not
colinear shafts. And, this transmission will be exact, without speed reduction. |
